Project Description

Wild Flowers Come Round Dancing. For me there is nothing sweeter or more lovely than a field able to spread it’s seeds naturally blooming with tall grasses and plant medicines. Like our lost sister’s, modern society is quick not to see the beauty and so they cut them down. The buttons are from a box that was tossed to the trash by someone cleaning the house next door. An old man had lived there with his mother who passed years before– these were her buttons. Some I suspect are at least 30 years old. It took this project for me to go through those buttons, selecting them, washing them and sewing them into place so they can join the round dance.
