SPECIAL REQUEST: Walking With Our Sisters is looking for children or baby moccasin’s vamps

Walking With Our Sisters is issuing a 2nd call and invitation to Residential School Survivors or their descendants and relatives for submissions of pairs of children’s or baby moccasin vamps.

Vamps are to be made in memory of and to honour the children who never returned home from Residential Schools.

The vamps will need to arrive to Ottawa by May 15, 2015. Please confirm your intention to create a pair by emailing gvfayant@live.ca.

WWOS Ottawa is hosting a one-day memorial for survivors on June 1st as part of the final TRC event in Ottawa. The children’s vamps will then join the main WWOS bundle when it arrives in Ottawa in September.
